It started with Resurrection, the theme for April, this month of Easter… Resurrection Sunday. But, really, there’s not a whole lot about people being raised from the dead in the Bible. There’s the ultimate example of Jesus, who was raised to life eternally, that carries the promise that our spiritual life in Him goes on forever.
There’s the friend over whom Jesus wept before He gave Him back his temporary earthly life; in the end, Lazarus would die again, and stay dead.
There was a little girl.
There were widows who received back their sons, the source of their earthly security.
So, let’s go back to the promise of eternity in the presence of God sealed with the resurrection of Jesus… In the New Testament we see the necessity and beauty of Rebirth, into God’s family.
So, Resurrection & Rebirth.
But with that rebirth, and the raising to life of our spirit, comes Renewal. Beautiful. There’s more that we could cover in a month, in New Testament and Old about Renewal in God.
So, Resurrection, Rebirth, and Renewal.
Well, that’s a bit cumbersome…
